Organic Eggs from Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch
Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch has proudly produced organic, cage-free eggs for more than 12 years. We’re committed to producing a high quality product for our customers and consumers, and always ensuring the health and well-being of all our hens as reflected in our “We Serve the Bird” motto.
Herbruck’s strictly follow all guidelines established under the National Organic Program, and we’re reviewed by an independent, third-party auditor to ensure our compliance.
Organic eggs are required to meet many unique standards to carry the “USDA Organic” label. For example:
- The eggs are produced by hens fed only non-GMO feed and grain that carries the “USDA Organic” certification. Herbruck’s is proud to partner with local farmers throughout Michigan and Indiana to source much of our organic feed and grain locally.
- No growth hormones or antibiotics are used in organic egg production.
- Organic hens are able to access the outdoors on outdoor porches, which provide them with fresh air and sunlight, while keeping them safe from predators and diseases. The porches are a very important aspect of our organic farms, because they protect hen health – a top priority for Herbruck’s.
